Dino Paladini was born in Florence in 1961. At the age of 12 he starts practicing karate. At the age of 15 he is already black belt first dan and, as a member of the Juniores national team, he wins the individual fight during the Italy vs. Austria international competition. At the age of 17 he starts practicing boxing with gratifying results in 35 fights and he wins the bronze medal at the Absolute Italian Championship. In 1988 he moves to kickboxing: he wins three Italian Full Contact Absolute Amateur Championships in a row, second and first division, he ends up in the third place at the European Championship in Kavala, Greece, when he is defeated by a whisker by the really strong Russian, Maximov, who will later become European Champion. After his participation in the Budapest Amateur World Championship, he starts his professional career: he wins the Italian Championship, defeating Alessandro Gotti, from Trieste, with a technical knockout during the fourth round, and ranks ninth in the Wako-Pro rank list.
He is currently instructor and examiner of full contact teachers in Tuscany.
In the fitness sector, Dino Paladini is a member of the Italian Kickboxing Federation and a federal instructor of cardio kickboxing and fitboxing. He specialises in the use of heavy bags and step, he develops conditioning programs, such as interval training, circuit training, endurance training, and choreographies with the heavy bag. He was fitboxing presenter during the last four Fitness Festival events in Rimini and the latest Fitness Festival held in Florence, in cooperation with SAP, 3boo and Palestra.it. He currently holds kickboxing and fitboxing classes and masterclasses in the major fitness clubs in Florence and is also involved in training courses for fitness instructors. |
